토익라이팅 170점 에어클래스 후기 피드백 및 수강 과정

수업을 하면서 참 다양한 학생분들은 만나게 된다. 교육이라는게 너무 신기한게 나 또한 그분들을 통해 많은 것들을 배우게되는 부분들이 있다. 핑계라면 핑계이지만 파고다 현강 및 온라인 학생분들과 카톡으로 대화를 진행하다보면 하루에도 몇십, 몇백개의 카톡이 쌓이고 읽고 답변 드려야지 하다가 까먹거나 뒤로 미루는 카톡들도 적잖이 있다. 참 죄송한 부분이고 내 스스로 고칠 부분이기도 하다. 그리고 나는 애초에 말을 예쁘게 하는 성격도 되지 못해서 예쁘게 내 생각을 전달하고 응대하는데 부족한 부분들이 참 많다.

그래서 간혹 수강생 분들 중에 말을 참 예쁘게 해주시는 분들을 만나면 기분도 좋고 많이 배워야겠다는 자기반성도 하게 된다. 어쨌든 이번에는 에어클래스를 통해 라이팅 수업을 진행하신 분을 통해 오늘의 나의 생각도 정리하고 토익라이팅을 준비하시는 분들에게 팁도 나눠드릴까하여 글을 작성한다.

사실 에어클래스에서 처음 연락이 온건 작년이었다. 토익스피킹으로 연락이 왔지만, 파고다 내 규정때문에 토익스피킹은 촬영이 불가했고 몇번의 미팅을 통해 오픽, 텝스 등 다양한 강의를 시도해보자 했지만 파고다 사내 규정으로 가볍게 토익라이팅 수업만 열게 되었다. 단 3일만에 끝내는 토익라이팅 사실 말이 3일이지 총 강의 시간은 다합쳐 두시간조차 되지 않는다. 그럼에도 내가 3일이라고 이름을 지은 이유는 "토익라이팅은 답이 없다" 좋은, 유명한 강의를 백번 천번 듣는 것보다 기본의 틀만 익힌 후 내 글을 한번이라도 작성하고 피드백을 받는 것이 더 중요하기 때문이다.

I agree that it is important to get advice from other people when considering a change of job

The topic of the change of job is widely discussed around the world today. Some people may believe that it is not important to other’s advice when considering a change of job.
-> It is not important to V: to v 하는 것이 중요하지 않다; 따라서 It is not important to get others' advice 로 수정하셔야 합니다!
또한, other은 형용사로 단독 사용 불가 다른이라는 형용사로 other people's advice 또는 other advice 또는 others' advice 로 사용 사능
However, I believe that other people’s advice should be considered when thinking of a change of job.
계속해서 단어가 반복되어 부자연스러운 느낌이 듭니다. 영어는 가급적 겹치지 않게 말하는 것이 중요해요 :)

There are several reasons to support my opinion, and I will explore why I feel this way.

The first thing that needs to be said is we need to to some experiences of the people who have changed their jobs previously.
-> 여기서 is 뒹에서 that 생략되며 문장 새롭게 들어가죠 need 동사로 사용되어서 뒤에 목적어 바로옵니다 need는 타 동사이기 때문이죠! 따라서 we need some experiences from the people who have changed their jobs before.
There can be a lot of difficulties that I cannot know about the change of job. My personal experience can be a compelling reason for this. Three years ago, I started working at Samsung. Then my performance was so bad. And my boss scold scolded me fiercely. So I was so stressed and sad. Therefore I was considering the change of my job then.

I was considering changing my job.
That time I got some advices from my elder brother who already changed his original job.
토익라이팅과 토익스피킹의 필수 단어 advice는 information 과 더불어 셀 수 없는 명사입니다 :) 따라서 advices 불가
He told me various things about hardships when changing the job. It was so helpful for me.

 

The second reason is that we need some information on the new job I want to move to. There can be many experts about jobs in my field. We can’t know every information about jobs which we want go to.
job 직업은 go 와 짝꿍 아니죠!
We usually don't know everything about the jobs that we want to have.
So we need to consult with the experts.

Recent news can support my opinion. In the news report I read yesterday, many experts said that 90% of people who have experienced the change of their job consult with one or two recruit companies.
우선 여기서 말씀하고 싶은 내용이 직업을 바꾼 90퍼센트의 사람들은 한두개의 채용회사와 상담을 했다 이거 맞으시죠?
90% of the people who changed their jobs consulted with one or two recruitment companies.
They needed the companies because they wanted to get some information about the job they desired to move to.
우리나라 말이랑 영어의 어순이 조금 다르죠? 영어는 두괄식으로 먼저 많이 쓰거든요 그래서 지금 문장자체가 틀리지는 않지만, 여기서 더 자연스럽게 써보자면 people got some information, tips, and advice about the jobs that they desire to move. 또는 the reason why ~ is that ~를 써주시면 좋아요! The reason why people needed those companies is that they wanted to get some information about the jobs they desired to move.
 

Though there can be much debate on the subject, it is clear that it is important to get advice from other people when considering a change of job.
여기도 계속 반복되니 when changing a job.
This is made evident by the experiences and information from other people.


In conclusion, it is crucial and critical to get advice from others who have experiences of the changing jobs when people wants to change their jobs.

우선, 다른 것보다도 이전 사람들로부터의 정보얻기 / 정보얻기 이런식으로 들어가서 내용 자체가 2개의 이유로 구성되기 보다는 1개의 의견으로 구성되어 겹치는 듯한 느낌을 주고 있어요. 따라서, 시험보기 전에 조금 다른 뉘앙스로 크게 2개로 들어가주시면 더 글이 깔끔하게 느껴질 수 있을 것 같아요. 예를 들어보자면 의견 듣는 것은 중요해. 첫번쨰로 중요한건, 미리 일한 사람들의 경험을 아는 것은 시각을 넓히는데 도움이 돼. People usually share opinions, thoughts, and feelings to others. Then, I can broaden my perspective. [시각을 넓힐 수 있다.] 두번째로는 정보를 얻을 수 있고 그러면 나에게 알맞는 직업을 선택할 수 있어. I can get tons of informaiton from other poeple. Then, I can choose a suitable job for me. 과 같이요~ . 제가 봤을 때 기본적인 영어 실력은 충분히 갖추고 계신 것 같아요 다만 단어의 반복을 피해주시고, 전하고자 하는 내용을 좀 더 클리어하게 구분하면 좋을 것 같아요. 좀 쉽게 접근해 보자면 어차피 우리는 의견 1에서는 예시 들거고, 의견 2에서는 전문가에 따르면 이 템플릿으로 시간을 떼울 수 있어서, 1. 이렇게 할 수 있다. 그러면 THEN!!, 이렇게 된다. 2. 이렇게 할 수 있다. THEN!! 그렇게 하면 이렇다 이런식으로 생각해주시면 도움이 될 것 같아요~ then 이 겹치는 게 싫으면 because, that way, 하고 들어가주실 수 있어요 :)  
 

이래서 내가 피드백을 강조!! 드리는 이유다.
